About St. Paul's

Student Life

St. Paul's Philosophy

We...

BELIEVE: That each student enrolled at St. Paul's School is a unique and important person and that every facet of his/her life - Spiritual, Emotional, Intellectual, Social and Physical should be developed.

SEEK: To help each individual develop as a thinking, caring Christian who respects all life and has the desire and ability to contribute constructively to the betterment of our world.

REALIZE: That the educational process goes beyond the school. Thus the developing of a shared commitment from Community, Parish and school is a necessary ingredient in achieving these goals. The efforts of the dedicated teaching staff are, as always, focused on the fundamentals of a quality education in the Catholic tradition. Students at all grade levels have a variety of remedial and accelerated programs available to meet their special needs and promote development of their special talents. An after school care program has been created to give working parents an alternative to daycare. The "Banana Splits" program gives children whose parents are separated or divorced an opportunity for some important peer contact. St. Paul's offers its students a wide range of sports programs and extracurricular activities. The students are nurtured in an environment which teaches Christian values and attitudes that will stay with them for a lifetime. The quality of the education they receive is reflected in their standardized test scores and the stories of success in high school, college and beyond. But more than all of these things, the greatest source of pride at St. Paul's is the school's core philosophy: an unwavering belief in the value of a quality education grounded in the principles of the Catholic faith. Preparing students to meet the challenges of a modern technological society is important, but equally important is the need to provide children with a strong foundation of faith in God, taught in an atmosphere of love, respect, caring and patience.
